Vietnam is shaping up as one of the Most Attractive Destinations in Asia

New cruises and resorts bump up luxury travel in Vietnam

Hanoi, Vietnam, November 03, 2016 - Luxury travel on the rise, Vietnam adds luxury cruises, seaplane, helicopter, hotels and experiential travel. Luxury Travel Ltd. (luxurytravels.asia) promotes world’s most authentic experiences in Vietnam and Southeast Asia countries in the upcoming WTM London from 7 to 9 Nov 2016.

Many British travel experts say Vietnam is now one of the top ten destinations in Asia, with luxury the fastest-growing segment. The beauty of Vietnam is that it continues to evolve without diluting its cultural heritage, achieving that delicate balance between modernity and the past.

Pham Ha, founder and CEO of Luxury Travel Ltd (www.luxurytravels.asia), one of the country’s first luxury travel and tour operators said, “Today’s luxury travelers want to be entertained and stimulated, rather than simply pampered, and Vietnam offers a magical mix of tropical beaches, post-colonial charm, a string of World Heritage Sites, stunning inland scenery, world-renowned cuisine and a home-grown flair for hospitality. Britons look for authentic experiences, Vietnam has all to offer.”

The luxury traveler is being tempted with new cruises in Nha Trang, hotels such as Le Meridien Saigon and the Reverie Hotel Saigon, experiences and tours, such as flying to Halong Bay from Hanoi by sea plane or helicopter service in Danang to Son Dong Cave or Nha Trang. Son Doong Cave in Quang Binh makes adventurious travelers crazy to explore it.

Vietnam’s tourism infrastructure has improved dramatically, a fast-growing list of modern luxury and spa destinations and recently opened golf courses, the launch of luxury yacht and river cruise services ensure stress-free journeys away from the busy roads. More airlines fly to Danang and Nha Trang and other hubs such Hanoi and Saigon, such improvements account for the the country’s recent growth in popularity especially with visa wavers for 6 European countries.

So what are some of Ha’s top hotels and activities in Vietnam? He says his personal favorites are Amano’i Ninh Thuan, near Nha Trang and an overnight cruise on Halong Bay, one of the country’s highlights and his favorite authentic cruising experiences in Nha Trang.

Luxury travelers now have the opportunity to cruise in Nha Trang Bay, not just in Halong Bay and along the Mekong. Being recognized as the pearl of the South Central Coast of Vietnam, Nha Trang has become one of the most famous tourist destinations in Vietnam because of its natural beauty and superb climate with 300 days of sunshine.

According to this travel guru, the all-inclusive Emperor Cruises Bai Tu Long Bay is the most authentic new cruising experience in Vietnam in 2017. Being treated as kings and queens, indulging in services such as music, fine arts, architecture, culture, cuisines, history, and outdoor activities where everything is all included on the overnight 8 all suite cabin.

“The top ten that seem to leave travelers in awe are the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel, La Residence Hue Hotel and Spa, Banyan Tree Lang Co, InterContiental Sun Peninsular Danang, the Nam Hai in Hoi An, the Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Nha Trang, Princess d’Annam Phan Thiet, Six Senses Con Dao and Amano’i Ninh Thuan,” he said.

Pham Ha and his Luxury Travel team attend the upcoming WTM London to promote the authentic travel experiences in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Discover more at www.luxurytravels.asia

Travelers from the UK to Vietnam increasing by 16%, beaten only by France

Vietnam’s first luxury tour operator has pinned high hope on expanding its British clientele following its successful show at the recent World Travel Market London 2014.

Hanoi, Vietnam, November 29, 2014 - Vietnam’s first luxury tour operator has pinned high hope on expanding its British clientele following its successful show at the recent World Travel Market London 2014.

During the first nine months of this year 2014, European arrivals increased sharply over the same period in 2013; visitors from the UK have increased by 16%, Germany by 75%, Spain by 24%, and Italy by 15%.

The country’s tourist board revealed at WTM that a total of 158,000 Brits have visited the country in the first nine months of the year, a year-on-year increase of 16%.

The figures mean the UK is the second most important European source market for the destination, beaten only by France’s 165,000 visitors over the same period.

It was also revealed that Europe is Vietnam’s third largest source market with a total 14% market share of international visitors.

Pham Ha, CEO and founder of Luxury Travel held high level meetings with representatives of a large number of companies and the leaders of the luxury tourism industry. Vietnam’s first luxury tour operator has pinned high hope on expanding its British clientele following its successful show at the recent World Travel Market London 2014.

“There are many tour operators and travel agents who are interested in our award winning luxury tour operations and who are looking for new luxury travel products in Vietnam thanks to new direct flights and huge demand from British travelers. Vietnam is getting more and more popular in the UK and Ireland markets and we have many new contracts and accounts,” said Ha.

The growth of the experiential travel market is well reported. Luxury travellers aren’t merely buying a destination anymore, they are seeking engagement. Terms such as “authentic”, “transformational experiences”, “meaningful connections” and so on, are populating the brochures and websites of travel companies.

Pham Ha reveals that more specialist golf tour operators want to develop golf and wellness spas tours in their brochure in 2015, an experiential travel trend he believes will continue in the future. Britain’s tourists, according to Ha, picked Vietnam for their vacations for safety, affordable prices, authenticity, warm weather, and convenient direct flights.

Britons traveling to Vietnam are looking for a more authentic experience and seek to have a deeper understanding of the country’s culture, food, history and everyday life. While Thailand is geared more toward mass market tourism, Vietnam is a destination that is attractive to a more selective class of travelers.

Luxury Travel’s booking record indicates that British travelers prefer cultural experiences and beach extensions, while many also combine Vietnam and Cambodia or Myanmar into one trip.

He confirmed that his representative office in London and sales and marketing team will expand its stand and come back to WTM 2015.

Deputy director general Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Quoc Hung said as the destination seeks to grow these numbers, so more would be done to engage the UK press and travel industry. Vietnam is planning to hold a series of fam and press trips to further drive growth in UK tourist numbers.

With significant numbers of visitors from Australia, America, France, England and Germany, Vietnam expects to receive over 8 million tourists in 2014.

Luxury Travel Ltd has a Successful World Travel Market London 2013

His two British representatives and Pham Ha, CEO and founder of Luxury Travel Ltd. held high level meetings with representatives of a large number of companies and the leading specialists of the luxury tourism industry.

Hanoi, Vietnam, November 25, 2013 – His two British representatives and Pham Ha, CEO and founder of Luxury Travel Ltd. (www.luxurytravels.asia) held high level meetings with representatives of a large number of companies and the leading specialists of the luxury tourism industry.

“There are many tour operators and travel agents who are interested in our award winning luxury tour operations and who are looking for new luxury travel products in Vietnam thanks to new direct flights and huge demand from British travelers.” said Pham Ha.

“Vietnam is getting more and more popular in the UK and Ireland markets and we have many new contracts and accounts. We are seeing particular demand for Myanmar and the biggest growth is expected for this country, which is becoming more popular in the UK due to political changes and new developments. This year again, Luxury Travel is an official supporter of Responsible Tourism Day at WTM”

He stressed that the UK market is very important to the company and that it is seeking to dominate this market with more staff and increasing the number of private small groups that it serves. This will be primarily through tailor-made holidays via the sales office based in London.

Beautiful beaches, year-round green tropical parks, mighty rivers, unique fishing villages, special culinary characteristics ... are always the force of gravity of Vietnam in the eyes of foreign travelers. In recent years Vietnam has justifiably become one of Asia’s most fashionable destinations for high-end British travelers.

Luxury tourism is not just about limos and five-star hotels, but creating memorable experiences and Luxury Travel ensure that its guests feel part of the place rather than a casual observer, the authentic experience being particularly popular with visitors from Britain.

Getting off-the-beaten track, relaxing on the beach at less visited places such as Con Dao and Phu Quoc as well as combining Vietnam with visits to Cambodia, Laos or Myanmar are great favourites with the UK market.

Vietnam is appealing to British visitors because of its safety, affordable prices, authenticity, lovely weather and convenient direct flights with Vietnam Airlines. Luxury Travel Ltd.’s booking record indicates that British travelers prefer cultural experiences and beach extensions, while many also combine Vietnam and Cambodia or Myanmar into one trip.

“British holidaymakers like custom and private tours, not big groups. The boom in demand suggests that holidaymakers are becoming increasingly canny and watching exchange rates as well as seeking out keenly-priced packages before deciding on their destination. ” he said.

Further to the positive response from the market Pham Ha expects two digit growth in the next year and he confirmed that his representative office in London and sales and marketing team will expand its private stand and come back to WTM 2014 with a bigger exposure.

Vietnam Airlines provide directs flights Hanoi to London and Vietnam receives annually 100.000 Britton travelers and Luxury Travel Ltd (www.luxurytravels.asia) served 1.000 British travelers and enjoyed 200% growth from this market in compare with the last year. The company has rep office and takes part in major trade shows in the UK and expects two digit growth in 2014.

This year, Vietnam expects to attract 7.2 million foreign visitors in all markets and 35 million domestic tourists with revenue of US$9 billion.

In 2012, the tourism industry generated 6.85 million international and 32.5 million domestic trips creating around US$7.6 billion in revenue.

To Celebrate its 9th Anniversary, Luxury Travel Ltd . Reveals the Successful Story of Vietnam's First Luxury Travel and Tour Operator

“Besides having a passion for travelling, reading, walking and golf, I love to seek luxury,” admits Pham Ha, the CEO of Luxury Travel Ltd.

Hanoi, Vietnam, May 14, 2013 - “Besides having a passion for travelling, reading, walking and golf, I love to seek luxury,” admits Pham Ha, the CEO of Luxury Travel Ltd (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com).

He’s not alone. As Vietnam’s economy strengthens, the tourism industry is inevitably expanding its own horizons. Once considered as more of a backpacker destination, now with growing high-end options, Vietnam is attracting a different kind of tourist.

Options might still be considered limited and infrastructure below international standards. But that’s where Ha’s company steps in. On a mission to promote the luxurious side of Vietnam, Ha hopes to coax more high-end travelers and businesspeople to the country.

But that doesn’t mean just booking five-star hotels and fancy dinners for a whirlwind tour along Vietnam’s coastline. He admits he’s haunted by one former clients’ indifferent dismissal of Vietnam as “beautiful but boring,” so his company goes the whole nine yards to ensure customers have the holiday of a lifetime.

The philosophy of Luxury Travel (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) is to find top quality services, unique experiences and sophistication and create perfect packages for the most discerning of travellers. Ha knows that to have a dream vacation the traveller must experience pleasure, comfort and total satisfaction.

Whether the client wants to hide in the tropical jungle, kick back on the beach, discover Vietnam’s culinary delights, trek to a hill tribe village or relax in style in a luxury vacation villa, Luxury Travel Vietnam will come up with the goods – minimizing on travel time and maximizing experiences.

“Simply envision any vacation experience you want, name it, and we will deliver it in style – that’s Luxury Travel,” he stresses.

As a child, Ha had always dreamed of travelling around the world. After graduating from Hanoi Teachers’ Training College and National Economics University, Ha worked as a teacher but soon wanderlust set in and he quit teaching to take a job as a tour guide, tour operator, PR, sales and marketing man.

After 12 years in the industry, Pham Ha found his own business in 2004 providing luxury tours in Vietnam. Besides providing sightseeing tours, Luxury Travel also arranges accommodation, airport transfers, regional flights, train tickets, visas, superior guides and other logistics in advance. The company guides speak Vietnamese, Chinese, English, French and German and are selected for their open-mindedness, motivation and enthusiasm.

“It may be my fate. Firstly, I do this because I want to satisfy my passion to discover,” says Ha. “But it’s also my pleasure to introduce the beauty of Vietnam to foreigners.” To turn a private passion into a tourist business, Pham Ha had to be patient.

“In the beginning, I had 12 years of work experience but not so much money!” says Ha with a smile.

Despite his meager savings of $1,000, Ha was determined to pursue his dream. Now four years later, his company employs 60 luxury travel advisors and top guides, owns a fleet of Mercedes and has offices in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang and management offices in South East Asia.

Each of the guides must be an expert traveler and know how to make the client’s travel experience truly special, truly hassle-free, and truly enriching.

“I love my country and its destinations, and I do my best to make sure that my customers feel the same way,” says Ha.

Ha aims to introduce a contemporary Vietnam – a country that is young, dynamic and exotic. Beyond the cyclos, pho and ao dai, Vietnam is gaining a reputation for its breathtaking beaches, luxurious resorts and golf courses.

“It’s not difficult to find luxury hotels. Now is the time for upscale travelers and MICE to come to Vietnam,” says Ha.

At Ha’s office, there is a visitors’ book which is filled with entries by satisfied customers.

“We recently returned from our wonderful 15 day journey to Vietnam and Cambodia arranged by Luxury Travel Vietnam,” writes Pamela Solvang. “We can’t thank you enough for providing such an excellent travel experience for us from start to finish. The three of us on this trip have all traveled extensively, all around the world. We have used the best luxury travel companies in the US and elsewhere and can attest that Luxury Travel provides excellent services!”

Attention to detail sums up Ha’s approach very well. He knows high-end travelers don’t settle for below standard services, even if Vietnam is still a developing country, tours must run smoothly.

As Vietnam continues to assert its presence on the world stage, the number of visitors is surging and Ha is confidently waiting, ready to accommodate those who are looking to bask in the lap of luxury.

Top Five High End Travel Trends for 2013 from Luxury Travel Ltd

Keeping with its annual tradition, Luxury Travel announces its forecast on the travel trends to watch in 2013 in the Vietnam tourism industry.

Hanoi, Vietnam, January 04, 2012 - Keeping with its annual tradition, Luxury Travel (Vietnam’s first luxury tour and travel operator and most successful luxury travel brand) announces its forecast on the travel trends to watch in 2013 in the Vietnam tourism industry.

Multi-Generational Family Travel:
In the current fragile economy, people tend to go back to family values and enjoy holidays together. For them, life is a collection of special moments and family reunions. Geographically, families live farther away from each other than at any time in history, and millions of post 50s travelers are trading briefcases for roller bags. With time, health and disposable income on their hands, they are taking the kids and grandkids along. Luxury Travel (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) has received more bookings for multi-generational private family vacations.

Wellness and Spa:
Vietnam has followed the lead of Thailand and begun embracing spa culture with a wide selection of resorts and day spas that are the equal of any in the world. Spa vacationers now choose Vietnam for various wellness and spa options, such as the 6 star spa at the Nam Hai, heritage spa at Pilgrimage Village Resort Hue, the all inclusive spas at Fusion Maia Danang, thefamily spa at Six Senses Nha Trang, day spas in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the beach spa at Princess d’Anam or Antara Mui Ne or the destination spas at Emeralda Ninh Binh, Six Sense Con Dao or Life Resort Quy Nhon.

Active Vacations:
Travelers are seeking out ways to stay active and healthy on the road. They want to go to places where they have plenty of options to take day trips and enjoy active excursions from trekking to diving in Vietnam. The thrills offered are endless and span a wide range, including hiking, trekking, biking, kayaking, climbing, rafting, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, hot air ballooning, camping, yachting and more. Some of the locations where these activities can be enjoyed include Sapa, Halong Bay, Cu Lao Cham, the Central Highlands, the Mekong Delta, Phan Thiet, Con Dao, the Phu Quoc Islands and many more.

Bespoke Itineraries With a Sense of Place:
It is all about the experience and a storytelling. Travel should be personalized and luxury travel advisors are learning to blend experiences that are tailored to personal desires along with truly special options that reflect the destination. Luxury travel is no longer just about fine dining and five-star hotels. With so many new experiences on offer, it’s the stories travellers can tell afterwards that confer status.

Seeking Out What’s Next & New:
High-end travelers always want new and exotic experiences, plus value, both in terms of personal value and value for money. They seek new destinations, roads less travelled, new hotels and new experiences. They want to be the first to discover a destination. Many have moved towards a quieter understated luxury and plan their trips with a focus on authenticity and experiential travel, focused on enriching once-in-a-lifetime experiences. For travel experts, it is essentially about creating a package that is personal as well as authentic and memorable.

Luxury Travel Ltd. Promotes High-end Vietnam Tourism Products at WTM London 2012

Vietnam-based Luxury Travel (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) will join the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in October to promote luxury travel products at World Travel Market London 2012 (WTM) in the UK from November 5 to 8. Stand AS480

Hanoi, Vietnam, Oct 01, 2012 - Vietnam-based Luxury Travel (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) will join the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in October to promote luxury travel products at World Travel Market London 2012 (WTM) in the UK from November 5 to 8. Stand AS480

According to Pham Ha, founder of Luxury Travel, the UK has been a great market for the company, which has appealing products for Britons’ tastes and preferences.

“We target the right clients with personalized products and services.” said Ha.

He also noted that the company had increased the number of private small groups that it served, primarily with tailor-made holidays.

“British holidaymakers like custom and private tours, not big groups. The boom in demand suggests that holidaymakers are becoming increasingly canny and watching exchange rates as well as seeking out keenly-priced packages before deciding on their destination.” he said.

Britain’s tourists, according to Ha, picked Vietnam for their vacations for safety, affordable prices, authenticity, warm weather, and convenient direct flights.

Vietnam Airlines introduced service between Gatwick and Hanoi in December 2011, becoming the first direct flights to the country from Britain, and reducing the journey by several hours.

“With our marketing efforts and commitments, we will attract more British travelers who wish to experience Vietnam in style and luxury, and we’ll encourage them stay longer. Typical stays are 10 or 14 days, and in 5-star hotels.” he said.

Another reason for the sharp increase in Britons taking holidays in Vietnam is the recent opening of new holiday resorts in the Southeast Asian nation. The past few years have seen the completion of many luxurious resorts with names such as Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa, Intercontinental Peninsula Danang Sun Spa and Six Senses Con Dao, entering the market and offering more choices for travelers.

“With our representative office in London for the UK and Ireland markets, we are targeting double digit growth in this market for 2013." said Ha.

Luxury Travel is a long established Asian specialist in luxury privately guided and fully bespoke holidays in Vietnam and the Indochinese Peninsula. Vietnam now has world class hotels and resorts, beaches and cuisine, in addition to its natural beauty, rich history and traditional culture. The country receives 100,000 British tourists yearly, and the number of tourists increases an average of 68 percent annually.

Britons traveling to Vietnam are looking for a more authentic experience and seek to have a deeper understanding of the country’s culture, food, history and everyday life. While Thailand is geared more toward mass market tourism, Vietnam is a destination that is attractive to a more selective class of travelers.

Luxury Travel Ltd.’s booking record indicates that British travelers prefer Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, the former imperial capital Hue and Hoi An Ancient Town.

They also want to visit Halong Bay, the Mekong Delta and Sapa, Mui Ne, Con Dao and the Phu Quoc Islands, while many also combine Vietnam and Cambodia or Myanmar in one trip.

Vietnam’s first luxury tour operator/DMC (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) is based in Hanoi, with offices throughout Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand. Luxury Travel is exceptional at designing tailor-made tours and providing unique travel experiences. Opened in 2004, the Luxury Travel Company Limited has its own offices, luxury vehicles, luxury travel advisors, and representative offices in California, London,Paris, and Sydney. Luxury Travel in Vietnam on the Rise and Affordable

Mr. Pham Ha, a travel guru in tourism industry in Vietnam, reveals the current luxury travel trends and his products for 2013.

Hanoi, Vietnam, July 20, 2012 - Vietnam is emerging as a luxe destination in the world tourism map, Mr. Pham Ha, a travel guru in tourism industry in Vietnam, reveals the current luxury travel trends and his products for 2013. Ha is a founder and CEO of Luxury Travel Ltd, Vietnam’s first luxury tour operator and DMC.

The Travel Experts of Virtuoso in the US just completed a trend survey of its member agencies, each of whom specializes in catering to the needs of luxury travelers, which came to the conclusion that Vietnam and Cambodia are the hot destinations in Southeast Asia.

"With new luxury hotels and world class golf courses having recently opened or set to open soon, and the introduction of luxury train journeys, exclusive cruises and upscale private tours spanning the length of the country, Vietnam is fast emerging as an exciting destination for the high-end traveler," says Luxury Travel Ltd’s Founding CEO, Pham Ha.

Today’s luxury travelers want to be entertained and stimulated, rather than simply pampered, and Vietnam offers a magical mix of tropical beaches, post-colonial charm, a string of world heritage sites, stunning inland scenery, a world-renowned cuisine and a home-grown flair for hospitality.

“Nowadays, luxury travel is about experiences, doesn't need to be the preserve of the super-rich - indeed, it is a little-known fact that almost anybody can afford to travel in style, elegance and comfort without breaking the bank or even spending much more than travelling ordinarily. The world of luxury travel is actually a very accessible onem,” reveals Pham Ha.

Upscale tours today also offer “off the beaten track” experiences. In a credit crunch environment high end tourists also expect efficiency, seamless travel, value for money and a return on personal values. Many will opt for short trips for their families which offer a slice of local culture, a splash of adventure, and authentic experiences. Upscale tailor-made tours in Vietnam now come replete with yacht cruises, helicopter tours, limousine services, and the whole nine yards.

There is also plenty of flexibility for all tours. Travelers are free to request helicopter tours, cycling excursions to craft villages, scuba diving or snorkeling trips, reservations at the finest restaurants in the land, meetings with renowned artists, chefs and designers, shopping recommendations, spa reservations, tours with special-interest lecturers, and exclusive access to local activities and cultural events.

Each day, tours are designed with flexibility to suit travelers’ personal interest, schedule and energy level. When it comes to luxury tours, the sky’s truly the limit.

Vietnam’s first luxury tour operator/DMC (www.luxurytravelvietnam.com) based in Hanoi with offices throughout Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand, Luxury Travel is exceptional in designing tailor-made tours and providing unique travel experiences. Opened in 2004, the Luxury Travel Company Limited has its own offices, luxury vehicles, luxury travel advisors, and reprentative offices in California, London, Paris, and Sydney. Last, but not least, there are two inclusions on the World Documentary Heritage list: the woodblocks of the Nguyen Dynasty and the stone steles in Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Hanoi).

4. Festivals:

Many colorful festivals can be enjoyed year round. The time after Tet Nguyen Dan (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) is especially exciting. Festivals include the Perfume Pagoda, Hung King, Kate, Lim and Giay Festivals, just to name a few.

5. Pristine:

Many pristine islands and beaches are to be found in this tropical country. Vietnam has 3620 km of coastline, with beautiful white sand beaches and world class resorts. Of these, you should not miss the stunning sand and clear waters of My Khe, Cua Dai, Nha Trang, Ninh Van Bay, Quy Nhon, Mui Ne, Vung Tau, Phu Quoc and the Con Dao Islands.

6. Enjoyment:

Holidaymakers have the choice of new and trendy boutique hotels, spas, golfing, cruises, shopping centres, restaurants and nightlife. With new luxury hotels and world class golf courses having recently opened or set to open soon, and the introduction of luxury train journeys, exclusive cruises and upscale private tours spanning the length of the country, Vietnam is fast emerging as an exciting destination in Asia.

7. Scenery:

Spectacular scenery and a diverse landscape exists from North to South. Mountains, forests, nature reserves, rivers, beaches, and islands are all here to be enjoyed. Verdant patchworks of rice paddies and pointed lampshade-style hats are just a small part of what there is to be seen in this formerly war ravaged country. Visitors will see more than the economic repression often portrayed on worldwide television and in newspapers. There is also natural beauty, a harmonious array of ethnic cultures, imperial monuments, timeless traditional villages, idyllic sea resorts and dynamic cities.

8. Essence: Vietnam boasts scores of traditions, lifestyles and religions. The friendly and hospitable population has been influenced by the cultures of China, France and America, and this is reflected in the country’s lifestyle, architecture, cuisine and art.
