Online gaming and Entertainment company 2UP buys online pokies site

Listed online gaming and entertainment company 2UP Gaming PLC (2GM:F) has purchased online affiliate pokies website WebNetPokies.

Nerang, Qld, March 27, 2012 - The purchase is part of the company’s acquisition plans and will enable 2UP to utilise its technology’s and marketing expertise to maximise traffic to the site as part of a value-add strategy.

While WebNetPokies will be a fully owned subsidiary of 2UP, it will be run as an independent business unit benefiting from cross promotion marketing opportunities from 2UP’s website, which already hosts a number of gaming and wagering options.

2UP business development director, Peter Flynn, says the purchase is an excellent strategic fit for the company providing immediate cash flow.

“We have previously stated that online affiliate businesses will form a part of our long-term plans to become a major international online gaming and entertainment company,” Mr Flynn says.

“The purchase of WebNetPokies is consistent with this strategy, and we believe its revenues can be significantly increased through a high rank on Google as an on-line pokies site which will form part of our marketing efforts.

“Another attraction to the affiliate business is its generic domain name which will allow us to incorporate the 2UP animated game as an added feature to pokies and slot machine players.”

Affiliate sites act as portals to enable visitors to locate and access online slot machines or pokies by redirecting them to casinos who pay for either traffic or a sale of their product. Many online casinos have affiliate programs driving traffic to their chosen domain.
A report released last year noted online poker and casino operations account for almost half of the USD$13.49 billion international internet gambling market.

2UP recently announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to acquire European based video streaming business Streamark.

Streamark develops applications based on streaming video, tracking and communications technologies for mobile telecom operators, TV network and cable operators and hardware manufacturers.

The acquisition has strategic importance for the company as it allows the live streaming of content at a faster pace and reduced rate, giving 2UP a significant competitive advantage with a number of its live gambling products able to be delivered directly to mobile phones and tablets.

2UP has announced it is finalising a number of other potential acquisitions and a major capital raising from a substantial private equity firm.

The acquisitions include DBG Poker and Asian pool betting company ToteDaddy.

2UP is also in negotiations for a joint venture with an online lottery company.

2UP Gaming PLC is a fully functional online casino incorporating many gaming and wagering products including the 2UP coin toss game which is played in most countries around the world where players make a call on whether two coins being tossed in the air will fall as two tails or two heads. A correct call wins.

This will be underpinned by other unique and established gaming and wagering options to be released as part of its growth plans.

Online Gaming and Entertainment company 2UP signs MOU with European Video streaming company

Listed online gaming and entertainment company 2UP Gaming Plc (2GM:GR) has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to acquire European based video streaming business Streamark.

Nerang, Queensland, March 20, 2012 - Streamark develops applications based on streaming video, tracking and communications technologies for mobile telecom operators, TV network and cable operators and hardware manufacturers.

2UP business development director, Peter Flynn, says the acquisition has strategic importance for the company as it allows the live streaming of content at a faster pace and reduced rate.

“The Streamark technology gives 2UP a significant competitive advantage with a number of our live gambling products able to be delivered directly to mobile phones and tablets,” Mr Flynn says.

“However the biggest advantage of Streamark is its positioning and technology within the exploding internet protocol TV (IPTV) market and the ability to license their products.

“This is a new frontier for many businesses and start-ups in the delivery of content to mobiles, which Streamark provides a number of solutions including integrated billing and advertising services.”

The number of global IPTV subscribers is expected to grow from 28 million in 2009 to 83 million in 2013 with market revenues forecast to grow from US$12 billion to $38 billion in the same period.

Mr Flynn says emerging markets such as China and India have embraced new smart phone technologies and created enormous opportunities with limited bandwidth.

“Streamark’s technology can deliver HD video streaming for as little as 2mbps, compared with 20mpbs for standard broadcast, or 8mbps for one of the existing top mobile streaming providers,” Mr Flynn says.

“Its unique live video streaming technology can be used across a wide range of handsets such as Apple, Android, Symbian, Blackberry and WinMobile, running on mobile bandwidths EDGE, GPRS, to 3G and 4G.

“It’s a complete end-to-end solution that takes care of all the aspects of running a full IPTV service and a perfect fit for 2UP’s product offering.”

PC World in Romania tested Streamark’s seamless pre-encoding optimizing software in May 2011and found it provided a better and clearer image at a lower bandwidth as compared to other IPTV solutions.

Casino Lunch Appoints Matt Takeno as Head of Gaming

OrientPlay Ltd. brings Matt Takeno on board to manage their online gaming brands

Valetta, Malta, February 20, 2011 - OrientPlay Ltd., an online gaming platform provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Takeno as the Head of Gaming for both of their premium in-house brands Casino Lunch, and Apple Pie Poker.

Matt Takeno is a distinguished industry professional, having been involved in numerous illustrious projects throughout his career including managing the gaming operations for a renowned French stand-alone poker network. Leading up to the launch of Apple Pie Poker and the revamped Casino Lunch website, Matt has been a key consultant in shaping the games portfolio and branding, and is now fully engaged, heading gaming operations for OrientPlay Ltd.

Matt offered the following in light of his recent appointment; “I’m very excited to be exerting my energy full time to this project. It is an honour not only to be able to provide a world class casino platform, but to be one of the only operators on the internet to offer a multi-room poker offering. We are already garnering positive feedback from both our players and operators. I am also especially delighted with the positive responses we have received from both our prospective and existing operators who remain fascinated with our evolving games portfolio, back office malleability, and our technical capacity.”

Working closely with all of OrientPlay’s internal teams and prospective operators on a daily basis, Matt has been integral in everything from forming the games portfolio, the bonus engine, VIP coordination, and even the art direction. “To be frank, managing games operations for both our own brands and the brands of our existing operators is tough, but extremely rewarding” says Matt. “With most brands, there exists a gap between operators and their respective clients with respect to what games are currently offered and what the clientele desires; malleability of the current offering and the evolution of the portfolio are often at odds with the technical feasibility and priority of most brands. However, one of the great benefits of working with and building the portfolio and branding of our current and prospective operators is that we can close this gap further than what most other established brands can cater to. We consider ourselves lucky that our partners have strong vision, foresight, and communication with their customers so that we can provide exactly the games portfolio they require meet their needs If you want to create your own slot machines with your customised graphics, we’re more than happy to oblige!”

So what does the future hold for OrientPlay Ltd. and their players? Matt offers the following: “This week, we’ll be launching the revamped and rebranded Casino Lunch website.

We’re pulling out all the stops, and we are very excited by the updated graphics and branding. We’re also launching our Apple Pie Poker site, which will be launching with the Everleaf poker room, and we’ll be going live with both the Cake and Enet poker networks soon thereafter. Our players have expressed their enthusiasm with our poker offering, and they’ll be able to benefit from all of the tournaments hosted on these networks. I invite everyone to visit both of our brands, and I’m sure that you’ll be captivated by the classy feel and the tongue-in-cheek humour of both Casino Lunch and Apple Pie Poker respectively.”

Both the casino and the pending new poker operations are fully licensed by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) in Malta, a recognized and respected online gaming licensing regulatory body. Casino Lunch provides online casino gaming to players from all countries except the U.S.

London, UK, September 05, 2011 - 3 Sprockets specialises in producing games and applications for web, desktop and mobile devices.

“Appointing 3 Sprockets is a major step in moving forward with the evolution of the 2UP suite of products,” Mr Bentley says.

“The mechanics developed by 3 Sprockets will utilise the Unity gaming engine, a leading industry development tool, to operate our game with full 3D effects.

“2UP will allow users to play against other people from anywhere in the world, either for fun or for money.”

Mr Bentley says there are decades of experience between the staff at 3 Sprockets, and 2UP’s decision to award the contract to them will take advantage of their knowledge and expertise to ensure the game is appealing and interactive for users.

Online Gaming and Entertainment Company Eyes off Indian Growth Market

Listed online gaming and entertainment company 2UP Gaming PLC (2GM:GR) are seeking to secure partnership deals with leaders in the Indian gaming industry to further globalise their gaming products.

London, UK, August 04, 2011 - Company executives will be travelling to the south Asian sub-continent next month to speak with a number of potential partners to gain access to one of the world’s fastest growing markets.

A recent Media & Entertainment Consulting Network (MECN) Online Gambling Trends report identified India and Asia as the regions to watch for fast growth in their markets, including a surge of online gambling in India.

According to the report the betting market in India has witnessed exponential growth from an estimated US$60 billion in 2009.

Current research shows that usage of the internet in India has grown 20 times larger in the past five years.

2UP recently finalised deals with Asian pool betting giant ToteDaddy for the launch of their gaming products on ToteDaddy’s website, and are now looking at Indian online gaming as their next market to target.

Managing director Peter Bentley says forming relationships with gaming industry leaders such as India will allow for 2UP’s range of popular gaming and wagering products to be made available to a broader market.

“Creating a partnership with Indian gaming leaders will further encourage a strong base for worldwide membership, providing 2UP with immediate high-traffic exposure to the global online gaming market,” Mr Bentley says.

“Online gambling participant numbers are rapidly increasing and we plan for 2UP to develop a high status in the online gaming arena on an international level.

“India is the largest region with the biggest growth potential for online gambling and it will be exciting to get amongst this increasingly popular market.”

Mr Bentley says the gaming market in India is successfully establishing itself on the international online gaming stage.

“As a result of the rapid increase of internet access and usage in the region, the online gaming market in India increasing exponentially,” Mr Bentley says.

“India’s gaming industry is booming with a base of over 100 million internet users and 41 percent of them regularly accessing gambling websites.

“With their broadband technology still behind the rest of the world, it allows for the industry to increase even more as their access improves.”

The core focus of 2UP is the coin toss game, a game that is played in most countries around the world where players make a call on whether two coins being tossed in the air will fall as two tails or two heads. A correct call wins.

This will be underpinned by other unique and established gaming and wagering options to be released as part of its growth plans.

Online Gaming and Entertainment Company 2UP Enters Agreement to buy Online Pokies/slo

Listed online gaming and entertainment company 2UP Gaming PLC (2GM:GR) has entered into an agreement to purchase an online pokies/slots affiliate business that is part of a global USD$6.7 billion industry.

London, UK, June 26, 2011 - The agreement, subject to due-diligence, is for the WebPokies.com and OnlinePokies.com.au domains that provide links to internet gaming services for a worldwide audience.

2UP managing director Peter Bentley says the purchase is an excellent strategic fit for the company providing immediate cash flow.

"A report released earlier this year noted online poker and casino operations account for almost half of the USD$13.49 billion international internet gambling market," Mr Bentley says.

"Entering the affiliate business forms part of 2UP’s long-term plans to become a major international online gaming and entertainment company.

"This purchase is for a long-established business with solid earnings, however we believe the revenues can be significantly increased through 2UP’s distribution network in Asia, India and around the world."

Affiliate sites act as portals to enable visitors to locate and access online slot machines or pokies by redirecting them to casinos who pay for either traffic or a sale of their product. Many online casinos have affiliate programs driving traffic to their chosen domain.

OnlinePokies.com.au commenced in 2006 and acquired WebPokies.com in 2010. Both domains have demonstrated cumulative growth in players, revenues and earnings.

Mr Bentley says online gaming is currently experiencing exponential growth with signs for the sector to increase dramatically over the next few years.

"The growth of online gaming is particularly relevant in Europe, where governments are seeking to capture tax revenues by regulating the market," Mr Bentley says.

"A recent report by KPMG states cash-strapped governments around the world may consider relaxing current online gaming rules and restrictions in order to provide a much needed boost to tax revenues.

"If promoted properly, affiliate businesses can be extremely profitable, especially if they have standout URL’s such as these."

2UP, with offices in the UK and Australia, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in early May and has already seen a solid growth in its share price.

It recently finalised a partnership deal with one of Asia’s largest pool betting companies ToteDaddy.

The deal will see 2UP’s range of popular gaming and wagering products made available to ToteDaddy’s substantial global membership base providing 2UP with immediate high-traffic exposure to the Asian online gaming market.

The company has an online gaming license granted until 2025 to capitalise on its market positioning.

The first game to be released from 2UP is its live streaming and animated versions of the classic Australian coin-tossing game.

This will be underpinned by other unique and established gaming and wagering options to be released as part of its growth plans.

Listed Online Gaming and Entertainment Company Strikes deal with Asian Betting Giant

Listed online gaming and entertainment company 2UP (2GM:GR) has finalised a partnership deal this week with one of Asia’s largest pool betting companies ToteDaddy.

London, UK, June 13, 2011 - The deal will see 2UP’s range of popular gaming and wagering products made available to ToteDaddy’s substantial global membership base providing 2UP with immediate high-traffic exposure to the Asian online gaming market.

The first game to be released from 2UP is its live streaming and animated versions of the classic Australian coin-tossing game.

2UP managing director Peter Bentley says the deal will parachute the company directly into an established database of active customers providing an immediate audience for its products.

"This is a strategic partnership between the two companies providing an established audience to 2UP and a new suite of online gaming products to ToteDaddy," Mr Bentley says.

"One of the main hurdles for a company such as ours is distribution, and by partnering with one of the largest pool betting companies in Asia we are able to propel ourselves into a whole new market very quickly.

"ToteDaddy is a well established business and the provision of new products to their members will allow it to continue its dominance in the gaming market."

2UP, with offices in the UK and Australia, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in early May and has already achieved exponential growth in its share price.

Mr Bentley says the deal with ToteDaddy was the first in a number of strategic partnerships designed to rapidly grow the company’s presence on an international gaming and wagering stage.

"We are in negotiations with a number of other businesses that will also provide large networks of wagerers with access to our products," Mr Bentley says.

"This model is a win-win situation as we are able to provide innovative and cutting edge products to established markets who are looking to retain membership through the ongoing roll-out of new games."

2UP has an online gaming license granted until 2025 to capitalise on its market positioning.

The core focus of the company is the coin toss game, a game that is played in most countries around the world where players make a call on whether two coins being tossed in the air will fall as two tails or two heads. A correct call wins.
