"Ted L. Nancy’s Afternoon Stories" Now Published!

Ted L. Nancy, author of the "Letters from A Nut" comedy books, has a new book out:

Glendale, CA, March 23, 2011 - "Ted L. Nancy’s Afternoon Stories" (For those that enjoy a lunatic story in the afternoon) With an Introduction by Fred D. Nancy.

In this book, Ted travels around our great nation telling his stories and bringing along acts to entertain the public.

He goes to a gas station, thermos factory, mattress store & other places in the afternoon and tells employees his insane stories.
(Many do not want to hear them; others do)

Then Ted regales them with ridiculous acts he travels with. Like THE VENTRILOQUIST WITH THE PUPPET IN A COMA. The puppet just lays there hooked up to a hospital IV. The Ventriloquist talks to him but he just beeps there unresponsive in a coma.

The book has photos & illustrations by Alan Marder.

"I miscalculated," says Ted. "I assumed people wanted to hear my stories and see my acts. I had no idea someone would throw a thermos at me. I am sorry for that person. But I let it go."

Barry Marder is Ted L. Nancy. Jerry Seinfeld revealed Barry Marder on "Larry King Live" and "The Today Show" with Matt Lauer in September 2010 as the true author of the "Letters From A Nut" books.

Phyllis Murphy is Mr. Nancy’s muse. She tolerates chives.
