XZERES Expands European and International Sales Team to Accelerate Global Sales

XZERES began developing its presence in the United Kingdom last November with the deployment of its first sales person in Scotland.

Wilsonville, OR, August 18, 2011 - XZERES Corp. (OTCBB: XPWR), designer, developer and producer of distributed generation, wind power systems for the small wind market (2.5kW-100kW) and power management and efficiency devices for the commercial and light industrial market, announced today that it has recently expanded the European and international sales team to accelerate European and international sales.

XZERES began developing its presence in the United Kingdom last November with the deployment of its first sales person in Scotland.  Earlier this year the Company achieved MCS certification in the United Kingdom, becoming at that time, one of only six small wind turbine companies globally to achieve this certification and thereby receiving permission to sell its small wind power systems in the UK; whereby UK customers receive a 20 year government grant (the Feed-in-Tariff) for purchasing and deploying a grid-connected small wind power system.  We then launched the UK-based direct sales program and released our WindRx renewable energy software to provide the economic value proposition to customers in the UK market.  Subsequent thereto, in May of this year, XZERES shipped its first container (9 units) of its next generation 442SR 10kW small wind power systems to the United Kingdom.

We have now opened an office in Glasgow, Scotland in the United Kingdom and hired a European and international sales team.  With the addition of this team, we now have the capability and have begun selling direct to end-user customers and are employing the same successful sales model that has worked in the U.S.; as well as selling through a dealer network in the U.K.  In addition, with all of the preparations completed and the team in place, XZERES is ready to capitalize on the UK market and accelerate its sales activities in the U.K.  Moreover, we are now able to aggressively pursue the additional target markets that exist in Continental Europe.  Over the next year, we will expand into the following additional target markets, which will involve deployment of sales professionals and more aggressive pursuit of direct, dealer and enterprise sales:  Australia, further penetration throughout Asia and Eastern Europe.

Finally, we have $20 million of identified, current, turbine opportunities in the U.K., Europe, Australia and Asia.  While we cannot predict or guarantee which of these sales opportunities we will win, we believe we will be successful with our fair share; and are proactive, aggressive and tenacious to capitalize on them.  Of course, none of the aforementioned opportunities includes the opportunities that exist for our new line of power efficiency products.

About XZERES:
XZERES Corp. is a renewable energy and clean energy technology company that designs, develops, manufactures and markets distributed generation, wind power systems for the small wind (2.5kW-100kW) market as well as power management and power efficiency solutions for the commercial, light industrial and residential markets .  Our grid connected and off grid wind turbine systems, which consist of our 2.5kW and 10kW  devices and related equipment, are utilized for electrical power generation for applications and markets such as residential, micro-grid based rural and island electrification, agricultural, small business, rural electric utility systems, as well as other private, corporate infrastructure and government applications. Our wind power systems are focused on distributed energy, where a specific machine's energy output is largely or entirely used on-site where the equipment is installed, as well as grid connected applications. While many of our customers take advantage of their local net-metering rules within the United States and Feed In Tariffs that are often available in Europe and Internationally (to sell power back to the grid), our wind power systems are not dependent on transmission needs to carry the energy produced to another location and are therefore well suited for remote electrification, available with or without a battery coupled solution.  Our power management and power efficiency solutions are deployed primarily for commercial and light industrial applications, and secondarily residential usage and target both urban and rural customers.

New 4-1/2 Hour DVD Reveals Build-it-Yourself Hot Rod Frame and Chassis Construction

Follow every step in building a Model A hot rod roadster pickup chassis, while learning the necessary skills and techniques that can be easily replicated with modest tools found in many home garages or within the means of low budget hot rod builders.

McAllen, TX, August 19, 2011 - The new "StreetRod 101: Hot Rod Frame and Chassis Construction" 4-1/2 hour DVD covers every aspect of street rod and hot rod chassis construction. The newly released DVD from StreetRodPlans.com follows step-by-step the construction of a perimeter-type frame for a 1928 Ford roadster pickup with an extended cab. However, the techniques illustrated can be used in the construction of virtually any hot rod or street rod chassis, whether it be for a 1927 Model T, a Model A, a ’23 T-Bucket or even a ’32 Ford.

The DVD follows Bob Hamilton, an experienced home garage street rod builder who became hooked on hot rods in the 50s and who retired after 27 years as a high school vocational shop instructor, teaching auto-mechanics, auto-body, paint and machine shop. The viewer gets to spend literally half a day with Bob in his home shop, looking on as he builds a hot rod chassis and shares his accumulated knowledge from decades of safe, reliable hot rod building.

Everything Bob teaches in this breakthrough video can be done in one's own garage with tools many viewers already have or that are well within the reach of the everyday budget builder. Bob even tells how to easily and economically get things done if certain tools are not available. Bob’s objective in the DVD is to provide the information needed to be able to build a Street Rod that will be economic, safe, fun and pleasing in appearance.

What novice hot rodders will really appreciate and find valuable in this DVD is the fact that Bob Hamilton is not a prima donna builder. He takes the time to show how to correct mistakes, noting that, “they’re part of street rod building — you just suck it up, fix them and move along.”

The 4-1/2 hour "StreetRod 101: Hot Rod Frame and Chassis Construction" DVD is available for $24.95, plus $4 for shipping and handling (no extra charge for international orders) from http://www.StreetRodPlans.com, a sister website of TBucketPlans.com.
