Shine! Inc. Gives Women an Affordable Coaching Alternative

Brush With Death Prompts Actress to Help Other Women.

Vancouver, BC, September 2011 - After facing a life threatening illness in 2007 which took her out of the entertainment industry and almost everything else, Canadian Actress & Model Hunter Phoenix found herself in a position of having to start her life and career all over again. “It was the absolute worse time in my life.” Phoenix remembers. “I was unable to work, my finances were in ruins, and I was thousands of miles from friends and family. There were no other options than to just pick myself up and keep moving.”

And keep moving she did. In spite of the obvious challenges, Phoenix built a highly successful life coaching practice Inspired Solutions in just under two years. Still, she remained troubled by the large number of women, many entrepreneurs, who came to her desperate for support but unable to afford the fees for private sessions.

“Struggling, starting from scratch, with no support and limited finances is just a terrible place to be.”

In what she now terms her “ah-ha moment” another inspired solution was born; this time it was Shine! Inc. Putting a hip modern twist on traditional life and success coaching, Shine! offers women fun, highly-effective and affordable monthly coaching. Phoenix’s conversational, girlfriend to girlfriend delivery style is smart, savvy, and witty yet practical and completely applicable. “I never want to see another woman go through what I had to.” Phoenix remarks. “I love never having to turn anyone away!” Monthly teleclasses are just one of the ways Phoenix keeps everyone connected, motivated and moving forward, with “Rise & Shine Calls” being her most fun innovation.

“I’ve learned a lot about business and creating success along the way, so why not share it! And I’ve been on camera and know what it feels like to shine! Every woman deserves to be the star in her own life!”

SAFE International Announces “Ask the Expert”, Toronto Women’s Self Defense Column with Book Website Release of “Camouflaged Killer”

SAFE International would like to announce their “Ask the Expert” Toronto Women’s Self Defense Column with the Book Website Release of “Camouflaged Killer”

Toronto, ON, October 01, 2011 - (Straight Line PR) - Toronto Self Defense, SAFE International Announces “Ask The Expert” Toronto Women’s Self Defense Column With Book Website Release of “Camouflaged Killer”

SAFE International ™ is the leading provider of mobile self defense/personal protection training in Canada. SAFE International has taught more than 120,000 clients in the private, corporate and high school environments since 1994 and has now expanded into the USA. SAFE International would like to announce their “Ask the Expert” Toronto Women’s Self Defense Column with the Book Website Release of “Camouflaged Killer”

SAFE International would like to announce the release of the book, "Camouflaged Killer", The Shocking Double Life of Canadian Air Force Colonel Russell William, written by David A. Gibb and published by Berkley Books (U.S.) and Penguin Canada. Chris Roberts, CEO of SAFE International was asked to be involved with this book about one year ago in regards to his perspectives being a self defense instructor for the past 17 years. David A. Gibb has written a book that will help people to understand the mind of a serial rapist and murderer.  This book will not only inform, but educate people, possibly even preventing someone from experiencing such horrific events. One of the ideas David Gibb had was to include an "Ask the Expert" page in which people could ask Chris Roberts questions in regards to personal protection, safety, and self defense.  This is a role he takes seriously and one he hopes will help others.

The purpose of the “Ask the Expert” page will be to cover the whole spectrum of real life violence and its prevention, including the awareness, avoidance, verbal, psychological, and emotional aspects, as well as physical self defense tips. One important aspect of self defense that is proven in the book, “Camouflaged Killer” is that there is no one strategy that can address all scenarios in regards to violence in the form of sexual assault or murder. Advice given for one scenario may prove fatal in another and Chris Roberts will offer his insights on those options. Anyone with questions, thoughts, or comments is encouraged to visit the “Ask the Expert” Toronto Women’s Self Defense Column. Another reason Chris Roberts has offered to give his advice is in respect to the victims and their families. This goal and purpose of this page will be to truly make a difference in people’s personal safety.
