Quality Assurance Campaign from Rivet Software Looks to Elevate Financial Reporting

Program Launches With Webinar Addressing The ‘End Of Limited Liability’

Denver, CO, November 20, 2012 - Rivet Software, the premier provider of standards-based business reporting and analytics software, today announced the firm is launching a Quality Assurance Campaign designed to help financial reporting professionals prepare for important changes in the regulatory landscape.

With the last wave of limited liability expiring within a few months, the Rivet campaign is intended to provide SEC reporting professionals fresh insight into the most common errors found in SEC filings and offer guidance on communicating with their investors and submitting correct filings to the Commission.

As a part of the campaign, the firm will be offering a webinar later this month titled ‘The End of Limited Liability – Are you ready?’ The free webinar, which will be hosted by Phil Mennona, Rivet’s XBRL Compliance Manager, will feature special guest Campbell Pryde, CEO of XBRL US. The program will speak to the three things reporting professionals need to know to ensure the quality of their XBRL data.

According to Rivet, since the XBRL mandate went in effect 3 years ago, the external financial reporting industry has seen close to 9,000 public companies file over 50,000 XBRL submissions. Mike Rohan, Rivet’s CEO and Co-founder, says a review of those filings uncovered over 760,000 data quality issues that will result in inaccuracies.

“With the last wave of limited liability expiring in just nine months, financial reporting professionals owe it to themselves, their shareholders, and their management to perform thorough, repeatable data quality checks on their XBRL financials every time,” says Mr. Rohan. “The stakes will doubtlessly raise.”

The ‘End of Limited Liability – Are you ready?’ webinar is scheduled for November 28th, from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM ET. For more information, or to register for the webinar, reporting professionals are encouraged to visit www.rivetsoftware.com/the-end-of-limited-liability-are-you-ready.com.

End of Year Signals Renewal Time for Many Home Inspectors, Land Surveyors and Professional Engineers

McKissock Offers a License Renewal Reminder Service for Busy Licensed professionals

Warren, PA, November 20, 2012 - The end of the year is sneaking up and McKissock, a leader in continuing education for state-licensed professionals, is issuing a reminder to home inspectors, land surveyors and professional engineers to renew their licenses. While renewal dates differ by state and association, a large portion of licenses expire at the end of the calendar year. McKissock is a trusted resource for state-specific, state-approved land surveying, engineering and home inspection courses, regulation information and compliance.

License lapses and expirations are more than just a hassle – they can be a costly mistake. To help remove the potential of license lapse or expiration, McKissock recently set up a free reminder service that will notify you when your license renewal date is pending. Visit http://reminder.mckedu.com to sign up.

“When professionals are out and about, they aren’t always focused on deadlines and licenses,” says Annie Creek, Market Research and Compliance Specialist at McKissock. “We are the go-to resource for reminders, coursework and compliance information so home inspectors, land surveyors, and engineers don’t miss a beat.”

Rules and regulations vary by state and industry, so it can be confusing to know what is required for license renewal, such as processing time, applicable forms and related fees. However, McKissock serves as a comprehensive resource about continuing education requirements and more. If you have any questions, contact 1-800-328-2008.

“It’s important to plan ahead and ensure you have the time to meet state and association renewal requirements,” adds Creek. “However, McKissock offers a wide variety of home inspection, land surveying and engineering courses that can be taken immediately so you can get back to work.”

McKissock also has affiliations directly with associations to help professionals understand requirements and receive continuing education credits, including: the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), National Association of Home Inspectors, Inc. (NAHI), and California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA).

From the McKissock website, state-licensed professionals have access to all they need to fulfill state requirements, including governing agency information, and can begin taking required coursework immediately. McKissock offers customizable packages, individual courses and affordable webinars. For more information, visit http://www.mckissock.com.

Emerging Singer-Songwriter Roxanna Releases New Music Video for Forthcoming Radio Single “Unforgotten”

“Unforgotten” Video (Feat. James Scott of Days of Our Lives) Now Available With Audio Single -- English and Spanish Versions Available January 15 on all Major Digital Retail Outlets. “Music should bring pleasure, it should be elegant and relaxing. I want people to fall in love and make babies as they listen to my songs. It’s all about friendship, pleasure, romance, love and beauty.”

Los Angeles, CA, November 20, 2012 - This Canadian singer-songwriter is a breath of fresh air emerging with a Latin flair from a cultured background, distinguishing herself from contemporary artists. Joining forces with Mark Portmann, known for working with Michael Buble and Barbara Streisand, Roxanna has produced a polished and luxurious rich sound. Her upcoming album release will provide a seamless, mastered mix of adult contemporary, classic pop, world, and a taste of flamenco. Her first single though provides a little preview of Roxanna’s sultry vocals that make her truly “unforgettable”.

WATCH/LISTEN

“Unforgotten” takes you on a personal journey of an empathetic story, with her accompanied music video. Featuring Days of Our Lives actor, James Scott, the direction perfectly fits with the dramatic storyline and emotional lyrics. Roxanna teamed up with industry pros producer Matthew Rolston, credited for working with Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and Jewel -- the video transports you back to the stylish 50s. Just from the first few bars of music, you’ll be mystified by the music…the guitar rhythm invites you to continue to listen to this story she is singing to you. This song is truly universal, anyone that has experienced heartbreak will be able to identify with the message.

Roxanna entered into the music world wanting to pay homage to Julio Iglesias (even covering his song “Como Tu” for the first time heard in the English version “Only You” on her album Exotica due out February 26, 2013). Spain and the country’s music also inspired Roxanna in what she wanted to achieve creatively. Because of her love for Spanish culture, she has decided to release an alternate Spanish version of the single “Unforgotten” titled “Para Siempre.”
