"Trojan Spirit in Monterey” Special Networking Fundraiser for USC Alumni Club of Silicon Valley on Wednesday, April 22nd at Cibo Ristorante Italiano

The community is invited to support the Trojan Spirit in Monterey and Silicon Valley!

Monterey, CA, April 15, 2015 – The community is invited to support the Trojan Spirit in Monterey and Silicon Valley! A special networking fundraiser dinner for the USC Alumni Club of Silicon Valley will be held at the award-winning Cibo Ristorante Italiano, 301 Alvarado St., in downtown Monterey with convenient parking in the adjacent garage.


USC alums, Cody Guerrero, President of the USC Alumni Club of Silicon Valley, Lori Lochtefeld, Owner of the Golden State Theatre/Monterey and Fox Theatre/Redwood City, and Wendy Brickman, Owner of Brickman Marketing, are coordinating this special event which is open to USC alums and the community as well. Invite your friends and family for an outstanding evening with live jazz and great networking!

This USC fundraising event will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd from 5:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. featuring live music, cocktails and dinner.

From 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. there will be networking and a No-Host Bar.

From 5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. there will be a no-host dinner and more networking.

From 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Andrea’s Fault Trio will perform live jazz.

Cibo Ristorante Italiano will donate 20% of the proceeds from the dinners of event attendees to the USC Alumni Club of Silicon Valley Scholarship Fund. There will also be a short presentation about what’s new at USC. (Note: Scholarship applicants can apply from Monterey County, too.)

"Cibo After Hours" is now held every Friday and Saturday evening beginning at 10:00 p.m. through 1:30 a.m. A special Late Night menu, featuring "Pizza and Panini" will be served until Midnight. From Midnight - 1:30 a.m., there will be $3 well drinks, beer and wine (with some exceptions for Cibo special event evenings.)

There is a "Happy Hour Jazz Jam" from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. every first and third Sunday of the month which includes Happy Hour food and drink specials. Cibo is now "wired" with free Internet service.

With 150 seats, including intimate booths for dining , and room for over 50 people in the attractive bar area, Cibo also accommodates large groups for business functions, wedding rehearsals and receptions, special group dining events, and customized private parties.
