About the Author:
Barbara Kreiger is the author of The Dead Sea - Myth, History, and Politics and Divine Expectations - An American Woman in Nineteenth-Century Palestine. She has written about travel and archaeology for The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and Smithsonian magazine. A Fulbright award recipient, she teaches creative writing at Dartmouth College and is chair of creative writing in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program.
