Crowd-Sourced Marketing Website Test My Message is 2011 Winner of "Most Innovative" Award

Crowd-sourced marketing website Test My Message has been recognized as 2011's Most Innovative home business by StartupNation, in its annual Home-Based 100 competition.

Springfield, MO, January 04, 2012 (Straight Line PR) -- Crowd-sourced marketing website Test My Message has been recognized as Number 1 in the category "Most Innovative Home Business" in the nation by StartupNation in its annual Home-Based 100 competition.

Many of the StartupNation Home-Based 100 entries showed that people are leveraging the efficiencies and lower overhead of home-based businesses to pursue their passion and bring in income during these tight economic times.

"The 2011 ranking reveals that home business is serious business - more relevant than ever. It's a natural response to loss of job opportunities, the need for supplemental income and the sheer passion for blazing your own trail and running your own show," said Rich Sloan, co-founder of StartupNation.com ( http://www.startupnation.com/ ), one of the leading small business networking and knowledge hubs online. "Home based businesses are the biggest block of all businesses in existence, and we expect numbers to grow ever greater as extra bedrooms, kitchen tables, basements and garages increasingly host the innovative thinking and pursuit of success by millions of Americans."

"It's an honor to win the Startup Nation award for Most Innovative. The exposure from winning has been tremendous, and we've seen a continued stream of sales from the exposure," Said Brian Schmitt, co-owner of Test My Message ( http://www.TestMyMessage.com ).

About Test my Message:
The idea for Test my Message ( http://www.TestMyMessage.com ) was the brainchild of Dave McInnis, the founder of PR Web. Dave brought the idea to a special course at the Wizard Academy in Austin, Texas. Five students of the academy spent three days taking the idea, building a website, convincing experts to be part of the project, and launching the site.

On September 1, 2011 the site went live with much fanfare. Of the original five-person team, three are carrying the flag forward. Rich Carr, Matt Lenhard, Ernie Nycz, and Brian Schmitt are at the helm, zig zagging their way to creating a thriving community of experts who help small businesses grow through better marketing.

This is accomplished by providing feedback on each marketing message from a variety of experts, quickly and at a ridiculously cheap cost. Instead of hiring just one consultant, Test My Message allows users to get feedback from a variety of experts.

Proceeds of every dollar earned will flow back to the Wizard Academy, a non-traditional, non-profit business school located in Austin, TX.
