Employee Nick Bello rigged the lottery by pulling his friends name out of the box of envelopes. Nick Bello had done this twice. The lotteries were $20,000 each. Nick Bello had 2 accomplices that were not employees of the Four Winds Casino. All three men were convicted of the thefts and served prison sentences. Nick Bello and his accomplices may have gotten away with doing it just once but greed took over them and they attempted a 2nd time.
On second theft the FBI arrested them on site. Apparently the casino has kept this out of the news in fear that their customers would find out they were scammed from potentially winning the lottery.
