Monterey, CA, July 11, 2018 — Seniors, active duty military, veterans, college students, and children all get their special days at the Monterey County Fair, set for Aug. 30-Sept. 3, 2018, at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center.
Special days at the fair includes:
Seniors’ Day
Thursday, August 30
62 and better, free from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The fair opens at 11 a.m. (one hour earlier) on Seniors Day for seniors only. A Seniors Faire will be held in the Seaside Room from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. College students will pay only $5 after 5 p.m.
Military and Veteran’s Appreciation Day
Friday, August 31
Military, veterans and their dependents admitted free with valid ID. A Veterans Connect Faire will be held in the Seaside Room from noon to 3 p.m.
Junior Livestock Auction
10 a.m. Saturday, September 1
Fiesta Day
Sunday, September 2
Kids Day
Monday, September 3
Kids under 12 admitted free all day
Fair Hours:
Thursday-Sunday: 12 to 11 p.m.
Monday: 12 to 10 p.m.
